Privacy Policy

Last updated October 2026

This policy explains how personal information is handled when you visit veldrai.com, choose privacy settings, use a free tool, email VELDRAI, or ask to join the newsletter. The separate Cookie Policy explains browser storage and similar technologies in more detail.

Data controller

VELDRAI is operated by Sevinç Ceren Şenak, an individual based in Türkiye. Sevinç Ceren Şenak is the data controller for the personal information handled through this website. VELDRAI is a brand; no registered business entity currently exists.

For privacy questions or requests about your personal information, email hello@veldrai.com.

Information handled when you visit

Loading the site requires ordinary internet requests. Cloudflare Pages hosts and delivers the site. Cloudflare may process your IP address, traffic routing data, and information about requests to the site to deliver, secure, and operate it. VELDRAI does not add an analytics script, advertising pixel, or behavioural advertising service to the site.

Normal browser and content-delivery caching may temporarily keep copies of public site files so pages load reliably and efficiently. This is distinct from using local storage to remember a preference or identify a browser.

Privacy and theme preferences

VELDRAI stores your privacy choices in first-party browser storage under veldrai-consent. The record contains the consent version, a timestamp, and your Necessary, Functional, Analytics, and Marketing choices. Necessary is always on. Optional categories are off until you choose otherwise.

If you actively choose light or dark mode, veldrai-theme stores that interface preference on your device. It works independently of Marketing consent and is not used to profile you. See the Cookie Policy for how to change or remove these preferences.

Newsletter and Kit

The newsletter uses Kit, formerly ConvertKit. Kit is technically blocked until you grant Marketing consent. Before that choice, VELDRAI does not load Kit's script, expose an active Kit form endpoint, create Kit identifiers, send a form-view request, or make another request to Kit.

After Marketing consent, Kit's script may receive technical information needed to operate and protect the signup flow. This can include your IP address, browser and device information, the page URL, host, referrer, URL query information, form-view information, and a browser identifier. If you submit the form, Kit also receives your email address and the signup information generated by its form.

Granting Marketing consent only enables the Kit-powered form. It does not subscribe you. Submitting your email is a separate, voluntary action, and the newsletter uses a confirmation step before the subscription becomes active. Marketing messages include an unsubscribe method. Withdrawing browser-level Marketing consent in Cookie Settings blocks future Kit loading on this site and clears known Kit identifiers from this browser, but it does not erase information already processed by Kit and does not unsubscribe an email address. Unsubscribe through an email, or contact VELDRAI at hello@veldrai.comfor a privacy request.

Free tools and email correspondence

Free calculators run in your browser. Values entered into them are not sent to VELDRAI, Kit, or a VELDRAI database and are not saved by the calculator.

The Contact page opens your email app; it does not submit a message through this website. If you email VELDRAI, the sender address, message, and any information you choose to include are used to read and respond to your inquiry or privacy request. Incoming and outgoing correspondence is handled through Namecheap Private Email. Emailing VELDRAI does not subscribe you to the newsletter.

Purposes and legal bases

  • Consent: optional Marketing storage and Kit requests are enabled only with your consent. Newsletter signup and confirmation are separate voluntary choices.
  • Legitimate interests: standard request information may be processed to deliver the public site, maintain reliability, prevent abuse, protect security, and respond to general inquiries where this is necessary and does not violate your fundamental rights and freedoms.
  • Legal obligations: information may be processed where necessary to comply with a legal obligation, including responding to applicable privacy requests.
  • Establishment, exercise, or protection of a right: information may be processed where necessary for this separate purpose, including a legal claim.

Service providers and their roles

Cloudflare

Cloudflare Pages hosts and delivers the website and may handle request information described above. Cloudflare also processes traffic information for network security. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.

Kit

Kit provides the consent-enabled signup form, manages newsletter subscribers, and delivers newsletter emails. Kit receives the information described in the newsletter section when the form is enabled or submitted. See Kit's Privacy Policy and Data Processing Addendum.

Namecheap Private Email

Namecheap Private Email provides the mailbox used for correspondence sent to hello@veldrai.com. It handles messages and associated email delivery information so VELDRAI can receive and reply to them. See Namecheap's Privacy Policy.

International transfers

Cloudflare, Kit, and Namecheap Private Email may process information outside Türkiye when providing website hosting, newsletter services, and email correspondence, respectively. You can contact VELDRAI at hello@veldrai.com with questions about how your information is handled.

Retention

First-party browser preferences remain on your device until you change them, clear site data, or a new consent version makes an older privacy choice invalid. Known Kit browser identifiers are cleared when Marketing consent is withdrawn, subject to the browser allowing that operation.

How long information is kept depends on its purpose. Email correspondence is kept while needed to handle and follow up on the inquiry or privacy request, and longer where a legal obligation or the establishment, exercise, or protection of a right requires it. Kit keeps subscriber information to administer the newsletter. Unsubscribing stops newsletter messages but does not by itself delete the subscriber record; you can request deletion by emailing VELDRAI. Cloudflare retains request and security information under its service practices. Provider retention and deletion may also depend on backups and legal requirements.

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live and the law that applies, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability of your personal information, and to object to certain processing. You may withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.

Use Cookie Settings in the footer to change browser-level choices. Use the unsubscribe link in a newsletter email to stop newsletter messages. These controls have different effects and using one does not automatically use the other. You may also have the right to complain to the data protection authority in the country of your habitual residence, place of work, or place of the alleged infringement.

To make a privacy request directly to VELDRAI, email hello@veldrai.com.

External links

Etsy sales have not started, and there are no live Etsy product links on this site. If Etsy product links are added later, Etsy's own privacy terms will apply when you follow them. VELDRAI does not embed Etsy tracking or payment technology on this site.

Changes to this policy

This policy will be updated when the site's processing changes. Wording changes alone do not reset your stored choices. If an optional technology or its purpose changes materially, VELDRAI will ask for consent again.
